🌀Shiva — The Silence That Burns

Truth vs. Falsehood

Can you see the beauty in raw authenticity and the ugliness in artificial “beauty”? Can you recognize the reflection of your own truth and falsity in others?

Challenges are essential for our personal growth, and every person on our journey reflects our own wounds, our own beauty, our light, and our darkness. It is easy to judge those who mirror something painful within ourselves.

As we grow and expand our consciousness, our vision becomes clearer. We begin to perceive these situations with love and compassion. We finally learn the lesson and become ready to move on. Then pain transforms into joy, misery into expanded awareness, falsity into the embodiment of truth. The longing for truth is the deepest longing of the heart.

Held in the presence of Shiva energy, this soulful, intuitive portrait revealed itself through me as I painted in October 2025.

His breath unweaves illusions,

His hand sweeps lies to dust.

From the ashes of endings

Rises the trembling new—

a world daring to begin again.

Destruction is his compassion.

He does not punish; he reveals.

He takes away the false

so truth may stand naked,

luminous, untouched.

To those who cling, he is terror.

To those who surrender, he is freedom.

Sit still. Feel the breath rise and fall.

The watcher of the breath—

that watcher is Shiva.

He is the stillness that dreams the world,

burning it clean, again and again,

Out of infinite love for truth.

This is what my creative process looks like—singing, dancing, meditating, painting. Ivy, my dog, is always by my side, offering her loving presence.
