Soul Art – The New Beginning: Artsy Girl

Well, it’s time to embody a new chapter. A part of me that was once lost has returned, ready to share her voice—SoulArt.

I want to begin today simply, by sharing a picture that came through during one of my art therapy sessions. There’s a depth to this process that I’ll share more about later, as it feels very personal and intimate. The words that accompany the image are a reflection of her presence in poetry, and I feel they capture the energy behind the piece beautifully.

WHO IS SHE? WHO AM I?

She carries both light and darkness.

She knows both pain and joy.

She is perfect in her imperfection.

She has once lost herself

in the deep forest of forgetting,

only to find herself again

in the echo of her own heartbeat.

She is raw.

She is ancient.

She bows to Mother Earth

because she belongs to her—

born of soil and stardust,

walking between worlds.

She is shadow and she is flame.

She remembers what others forget:

that to be whole

is to hold it all.

And when she asks, Who is she? Who am I?

the wind answers softly—

You are the question and the answer.

You are the seeker and the path.

You are the woman who was lost

and the one who came back singing her own song.
